A leader in their field, this large scale organisation offers their customers a total service solution, and will continue to play a major role in defining and delivering to them for years to come.

In this newly created role, reporting to the Executive Head of HR this is a valued key strategic appointment, playing a crucial role in shaping the culture of performance and business excellence through delivery of contemporary and commercially relevant OD initiatives.

This role requires a commercially focused professional who has previously developed and implemented OD strategies within a complex business that are continuously transforming ensuring they are able to exceed their stakeholders expectations. Ability to demonstrate ROI in previous roles will be key. This fantastic opportunity will be fully accountable to identify and understand the critical organisational capability requirements of the business, to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.

Supported by the CEO and executive team, this crucial people focussed role will strive for success to ensure the organisation are well and truly ahead of any of their competitors. 

Some of the initiatives and programmes that this role will be accountable for include Leadership Development,  Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Technical Training, Graduate and Apprentices.  

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in the design and execution of organisation wide OD strategies with clear commercial outcomes.
  • Exposure to both blue and white collar environments preferable.
  • Superior consulting skills with the ability to see strategy through to execution.
  • Ability to influence through others - getting buy in across all levels.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Previous experience working in a complex matrix environment.
  • Impact & presence - able to make a positive impact that brings respect and credibility across all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management across all levels of an organisation.
