The Company
Your new organisation is an ASX Listed Consumer Goods business that distributes its range of leading brands in Europe, Australia, NZ, USA, APAC. With a product portfolio that includes some of the best known brands in its market, the organisation is in a great position to drive sales and market share. 
 
The Role
You will create a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organisation achieve its objective, painting a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action.

Reporting to the CEO and leading the HR and Safety team of 5, you will provide advice and support to the executive and key stakeholders on people programs which will build culture, capability and drive employee engagement.
 
Through visible leadership, requiring frequent travel domestically and from time to time internationally, you will actively build organisational capability through development and implementation of leadership development programs, succession/talent management programs and workforce planning. You will also play an active role in leading negotiations with unions, industry groups and industrial authorities.

You will have the opportunity to fully utilise your commercial acumen to prepare HR budgets, reports and forecasts to the CEO. You will also lead, motivate and engage your team around the development, implementation and execution of a diverse range of programs. 
 
Your Experience
To succeed in this role you will take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. You will actively be seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.

Tertiary qualified, you are both strategic and "hands on" and have a solid organisational development skill set gained from a commercial environment with a "white and blue collar" workforce.  You have a collaborative, results focused approach with outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.  

Ideally you have experience leading business partners and the specialist functions of safety and industrial relations, however, your demonstrated experience in developing and implementing organisational development and culture programs which have resulted in higher business performance is more important.

By joining this business, you would have the opportunity to work with a team that is driven, energetic and passionate.  Fixed remuneration package is $180,000 - $200,000 depending on experience + potential for bonus.
