Why are we looking?
 
An opportunity now exists for a HR Administrator to join the People and Performance team in Sydney. This role will provide administrative support to the People & Performance and Projects & Talent Development teams nationally, and is the liaison contact between the outsourced service provider and People & Performance (P&P) and Projects & Talent Development (P&TD) teams. The People and Performance Administrator will also run the end-to-end management of the Sydney Clerkship Program.
 
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Team administration
  • End-to-end management of the Sydney Summer Clerk Program
  • Supporting the P&TD lead with the Graduate Academy Program including the preparation and distribution of materials and stakeholder communications
  • Processing of invoices and coding for the national team
  • Assisting our People Helpdesk with data management
  • Assisting with national benefits programs, including the coordination of flu vaccinations, R U OK? Day preparation, and other employee benefits admin
  • Assisting the P&TD team with the annual Scholarship Program, Study Assistance Program and CPD management
  • Updating P&P and P&TD wiki page content and social media pages
  • Planning and coordinating work experience placements
  • Preparing and sending materials to offices for training sessions 
Skills and attributes:
  • Ability to prepare and present accurate work requiring minimal alterations
  • Capable of progressing multiple tasks through to completion and achieve tight deadlines
  • Works effectively across multiple issues and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrates a collaborative and team mindset.  Builds trusted relationships across all areas and levels of the business
  • Has a positive approach and attitude, shows high levels of initiative and enthusiasm

Qualifications and experience:
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably in an HR environment
  • Very strong administrative skills
  • Excellent Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), document management systems
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors or other HRIS systems is an advantage
  • Demonstrates ability to manage priorities and manage client expectations
