Are you an HR advisor, who is specialized in Industrial Relations? Do you want to work for an engaging company which is very supportive in the further learning of their employees?

As the HR Advisor - Industrial Relations, you will be working in a small, diverse team. It is a friendly and fun environment to work in. Your new manager will be a mentor for you and is very willing to help you grow in your career. You could describe her management style as consulting.

Put simply, it's a great time to join this company. You will be responsible for the police/working with children checks and management of the employee/volunteer performance and disciplinary process. You will act as a trusted advisor to the organisation. You will work closely together with the Unions and the Fair Work Act and you are the go to person for IR related problems.

To be successful in this space, you will be warm, professional, have lots of energy and a can-do attitude to partner with the unions and internal stakeholders. You are the person who is not afraid to put new ideas on the table.

Having previously worked within a HR team, which a big focus on IR you will be able to demonstrate your strong influencing skills. People would definitely describe you as an IR specialist and will pride you for your good work in EBA negotiations. You have experience in liaising with Unions If you do not have experience in Industrial Relations, this job is unfortunately not for you. If you do have the experience, but you are missing some on the ER side, that is no problem. Your new manager is a very strong within this area and wants to mentor you to become an Employee Relations specialist as well.

This role my have the potential to be part-time 4 day per week position dependant on the right candidate.
