HR and Office Manager job - Growing SME based in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Your new company
Our client is a well-established and growing business specialising in a wide range of unique products for the retail industry. Due to a recent vacancy, they require a Human Resources and Office Manager to join the team. This role will be based in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, reporting directly to the GM.

Your new role
The role is responsible for delivering the full scope of people and culture operational services across the business for a headcount of approximately 70. This includes employee relations, recruitment, organisational development, remuneration and benefits, OHS and general employee life-cycle administration duties. There is one direct report who will support you with administrative work. This is a fast paced and challenging position, with multiple stakeholders and requires a "can-do" attitude!

What you'll need to succeed
You must be an HR professional with at least 5 years' experience in a generalist position. You will have a sound understanding of Australian HR practices and employment legislation, with the ability to provide expert advice to Managers. You will be an outstanding team member and happy to "roll up your sleeves" to get the job done. You will be an engaging and dedicated professional, who is focused on ensuring HR interacts well to achieve business outcomes. Ideally, you will have experience working in a small to medium sized business.
