Our client is a top ASX Listed organisation, who lead the market in their field. This long standing successful organisation is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their corporate client group within their Sydney CBD Head office. You will be working with the executive team in a true commercial business partnering role. This is initially a 10 month maternity leave assignment, due to start early March, 18.  

More specifically, you will be reporting to a GM HR your remit will be to provide support and guidance to the client group by executing on the deployment of HR programs, providing employee relations assistance, supporting recruitment and retention, and maintaining legal compliance. You will reviews and analyse business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions for performance improvement, retention and enhancement of the employee experience. Provides management coaching to build leadership capabilities related to the recognition and resolution of employee issues. You will also works with managers and employees to address employee relations issues of all types, ensuring that the interests of all parties are represented in a fair, balanced manner. You will be managing the remuneration review in June-August 18. There is a change of HR systems coming up so someone with system implementation experience would be advantageous.  

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience as a HR BP or HR Manager / Generalist with a background ideally within corporate services. 
  • Experience in building relationships with executive and professional staff, and high level problem and conflict resolution experience.
  • Experience within large complex organisation, with exposure to driving projects within high touch client groups.
  • Experienced in leading positive change.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, including written and oral communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, especially prioritising multiple projects and tasks.
  • Solid technical system skills with demonstrated ability to use a variety of software packages including with the ability to assimilate, present and analyse data and reporting as needed.
  • Demonstrated business savvy with ability to develop and maintain successful partnerships with both management and all levels of staff.
  • Ability to balancing the needs of business units and the company.
  • Ability to provide superior service to all staff by listening, comprehending and guiding them through issues to closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships.
  • Proven ability to influence associates at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and provide proactive, effective change leadership.Remuneration review experience is highly desirable. Understanding of and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Ideally, qualified degree in Human Resources (or Business).
