2018 will see the start of new beginnings and opportunities for this well renowned retail organisation. As such, they are seeking a skilled Retail HR Business Partner to join their team to help build capability across the business and manage a dedicated client group. With fundamental values that encompass exceptional customer service and collaboration, they are looking to build a strong HR team at the core of the business to positively impact productivity of their human capital.
  
Reporting to the General Manager of HR, the main responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Providing relevant and clear advisory support to a dedicated client group with regards to awards, legislation, employee relations matters, performance management, change management, learning & development, policies, procedures and HR best practice.
  • Assisting with the development and rollout of core HR initiatives to drive change, enhance capability, engagement and productivity.
  • Leading employee relations matters, mitigating risk for the business and issuing relevant disciplinary action as required. 
This role presents the opportunity to work as part of a broader HR team to support the successful delivery of core operational and strategic HR objectives. You will be responsible for providing effective and pragmatic HR services to all employees across the full spectrum of HR.
  
To be successful for this role you will offer:
  • Must have previous experience retail industry exposure working in a HR Advisory or Business Partnering role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, natural capabilities to build trusted relationships and ability to have difficult conversations with stakeholders.
  • Prior exposure to leading complex ER investigations and implementing new policies and procedures.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline. 
This role would be well suited to an agile, resilient and high potential HR Business Partner. For a candidate capable of adapting to different stakeholder styles, managing multiple priorities and enhancing line manager capability this role would be highly rewarding.
