As 2018 quickly approaches, one of Australia's leading media and communications business is going through a positive state of growth across several areas of their business and seeking a skilled HRBP to join their team. A company that is mindful of looking after their employees and clients, their core values encompass teamwork, authenticity and innovation. They are currently looking to build capability across the business in order to positively impact productivity and efficiencies. 
Reporting to the Head of HR, the main responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Partnering with the Executive Leadership Team and leading the people strategy for a dedicated client group of 300 staff.  
  • Assisting with cyclical HR activities, along with, the development and rollout of core HR initiatives to drive engagement and productivity. 
  • Providing relevant and clear advisory support with regards to performance management, recruitment, legislation, training and development and ER matters. 
  • Project support surrounding annual salary and performance reviews, enhancing the employee value proposition and developing communication strategies.  
This role presents the opportunity to work as part of a broader HR team in a varied HR Business Partner position. You will be responsible for coaching and guiding line managers around people issues, while also supporting stakeholders across all aspects of the employee life cycle to build capability.
To be successful for this role you will offer:
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline and sound understanding of human centred design. 
  • Previous experience working in a HR Business Partner role, supporting a dedicated client groups role in a fast-paced working environment. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, natural capabilities to build trusted relationships and ability to have difficult conversations with stakeholders.
  • A motivated, resilient and emotionally intelligent individual who takes a design thinking approach when rolling out strategic initiatives. 
This role would be well suited to an agile, resilient and commercially minded HR Business Partner. For a candidate capable of adapting to different stakeholder groups, managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively with the broader team to rollout initiatives and change processes, this role would be highly rewarding.
