As part of a listed Group, this business entity manages and distributes speciality choice house and renovation products to the commercial and residential markets.

About the Role
This 12 month contract as the HR Manager your role has two account abilities, your key focus is on leading HR for a business division nationally of approximately 400 as they work through a period of significant change. You also have accountability for the QLD based sites of a wider portfolio of businesses.
This role will work on the strategic plan, evolving organisational structures as well as the operational BAU day-to-day HR support for a multi-site workforce.  The challenge will be providing support to your operational leaders without being drawn into the time-consuming day-to-day tactical people issues. This is a true HR business partnering role, broad generalist remit, working alongside business leaders supporting the development and implementation of change initiative and managing the people plan.

About You
You will be a positive driver of change, and have the ability to effectively communicate across all work groups. You will be a practical HR generalist with experience in organisational development/change, passion for creating practical programs that engage and develop operational workforces. You will have strong team leadership, experience sitting on a leadership team, broad technical ability within HR, combined with excellent influencing, coaching, and relationship building skills. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to execute at the front line.

Based in Brisbane with travel.

To be successful:
  • Tertiary qualified in HR or related.
  • Experience working within a HR Generalist leadership role.
  • Retail or FMCG experience preferred.
  • A positive high energy open mindset.
