HR Manager job in Southern Sydney, South West Sydney. Growing SME Business.

Your new company
Southern Sydney based Australian Retail and Distribution business with huge success and exciting growth plans for 2018 - 2019. Head office based in South Western Sydney with sites, outlets and coverage across a number of major states.

Your new role
Working closely with the leadership team, you will manage a small HR support staff and drive HR initiatives across the business for nearly 200 staff. You will be responsible for further development of HR processes, policies and looking at designing new efficiencies and people strategies in line with the leadership's strategic vision and business plan. You will be responsible for recruitment including onboarding and talent management, HR administration, WHS processes, all ER matters and being the Fairwork and employment legislation expert. You will coach managers and employees on all performance management issues, upskilling and developing performance management frameworks. As this is a globally owned business, values and processes are established however this role has been created to coach and advise the leadership team through longer term people strategies, and employee engagement for the Australian operations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR Manager who has a mixed skillset of both operational and strategic HR. You will enjoy splitting your time equally between the two and be passionate about working at the coalface of a business and supporting all levels of staff. You will have experienced of developing and implementing new HR practices and strategies ideally in an SME size business, end to end. You will be a true HR Generalist and have worked in fast paced, customer service, retail or service based industries. You will be high energy, enthusiastic and passionate about your trade.
