HR Manager - Contract

  • Fixed Salary circa $145,000
  • Central CBD location within the financial services sector
  • 6-9 month contract immediate start
This is key role within an established human resources function. You will have demonstrable experience of leading from the front, operating with ambiguity and driving business case with insights, data and commercial business goals. 

About the Role
  • Partner with the business to deliver the relevant people strategy and identify, design and implement HR solutions via a defined people plan.
  • Develop and deploy 12-18 month plans to support the achievement of the people strategy.
  • Ensure that the people agenda drives engagement, addresses challenges and provides a competitive advantage now and for the future.
  • Ensure that the people plan and strategy supports and enables the business goals and strategy.
  • Build credibility and trust with senior leaders as an advisor who effectively gives quality advice and follows through on commitments. 
  • Drive business success through people by delivering insights from data and converting these insights into relevant and impactful actions. 
  • Partner with the business to ensure that talent is being optimally managed ensuring that they have, or are developing, the appropriate level of workforce capability required for the future. 

About You
  • Substantial, relevant experience within human resources or related field
  • High calibre consulting, communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence senior leaders and build trust and commitment. 
  • Ability to understand and interpret business data and strategy.
  • Proven ability to manage competing and complex tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills that create insight.
  • Track record of effectively advising and coaching leaders on key business and strategic HR drivers.
  • Successful design and implementation of strategic and transformational people initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of current best practice people, culture and engagement methodologies.
