Human Resources Officer in Government Sector- VPS2, Melbourne CBD

Your new company
This Government department is currently looking for a HR Officer to assist on a temporary basis, completing generalist responsibilities and transactional duties in a fast paced, exciting environment. This will be a full time role and will be based in the Melbourne CBD.

Your new role
Your new role will encompass HR tasks such as drafting letters of offer and contracts, assisting with the on boarding process for new staff, transactional and administration activities such as setting up L&D events, creating induction packs and answering the HR phone line.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a high performing personality with a drive to work to tight deadlines and be a cooperative team member. Ideally with previous exposure to working in State Government with HR experience and insights. You will be organised in your approach and comfortable working to tight deadlines.

You will be offered flexible working hours and an attractive hourly rate. This role will be initially commence on a temporary basis, with potential to extend.
