HR Manager job for Eastern Sydney working for Retail Business with 300+ employees. Stand Alone Role.

Highly successful privately owned Retail brand with stores across NSW, VIC, and QLD with a workforce of 300+.

Your new role
You will be the People & Culture Manager for the Australian business with 40 + stores across multiple states. Working in a stand alone capacity at the head office in Sydney's Eastern suburbs. You will work closely with the CEO and management team, establishing and improving HR processes and providing HR advice and counsel to head office management as well as all casual and full time retail operational staff. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of new talent management and L&D programs, and invest time in coaching and developing the leaders of the future. You will manage the full recruitment process for the business, advising on future succession planning, talent mapping and talent pooling for niche retail needs and seasonal requirements. Other responsibilities ill include contract production, onboarding, inductions and managing any training needs for new recruits and more experience staff members. You will ensure all WHS, HR processes and policies are compliance an will coach employees and managers through any ER issues, being the subject matter expert in the business on employment legislation and award interpretation. More strategic work may include the design and delivery of reward & recognition programs, leadership development, workforce planning for future growth and driving employee engagement and retention initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be tertiary qualified and have experience working as an stand alone HR Manager, People & Culture Manage or HR Generalist previously and a minimum of 5 years experience. The client will only consider candidates who have worked in the Retail sector previously or currently. You must be happy to work in a stand alone HR Manager capacity and have experience of designing and implement talent development and training strategies into a business. You will be happy to take on administrative tasks as well as more challenging project work. As this is a fast paced culture you will ideally have managed an HR function for a business with 100 + employees.

Salary for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 + super depending on experience and there is offer of full time hours or 4 days a week. Free parking offered.
