People & Culture Specialist - Maternity Cover (PT or FT)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate People & Culture Specialist with proven experience to join us in supporting our national business of 110+ employees across Australia. This is quite an autonomous role, running HR Operations and OH&S across the organization with the support of a part-time manager, the Head of People & Culture.

We offer flexible working hours and will consider candidates that would like to work part-time on an 80% basis (either 4 days/week or 4 days worth of work split over 5 days).

  • Cultivating a safe and positive culture at work
  • HR data management and administration
  • Internal communications
  • Travel to NSW, QLD and SA every quarter

Essential criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in People & Culture roles
  • Degree in Human Resources
  • Understanding of Modern Awards and employment legislation
  • A positive, calm, collaborative and pragmatic approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and pro-actively
