About the Role
The PMO Manager will oversee and record the progress and end-to-end delivery of the people stream and sub streams. You will ensure that all pieces of work and the overall programme are successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated and implemented.
Responsibilities include:
  • Facilitate the management and coordination of all activities of the people work stream and programme of work. For example, planning, scheduling, milestones, and dependencies.
  • The PMO Manager is responsible for management, maintenance and updating of reporting from the People Stream in conjunction with the stream lead.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate business relationships with People & Culture (P&C) and act as a focal point for program-related activities.
  • Maintain the project stream, establishing, and reviewing of project plans.
  • Drive programme and project performance, for example, delivery, quality, responsiveness, reliability, risk, and all aspects of the project budgets.   
  • Controls the P&C programme scope, baseline changes, and costs during design, development, and implementation of the People Stream
  • Maintains excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organisation.
  • Ensures appropriate resolution or escalation of issues, relating to project management and project conflicts.
  • Perform post-implementation/project reviews to determine progress and any benefits realisation and the achievement of overall objectives in line with the overall integration strategy.
  • Support project teams to meet key deliverables
  • Acts as a coach for stream leads in helping them fulfil project requirements.
  • Coordination with the Communications team to facilitate successful employee communications
About You
  • Exceptional Programme and Project Management skills.
  • Superior understanding & consistent application of Programme and Project Management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, P&C, communications, cost, risk, procurement and integration
  • Strong understanding of P&C as a function and how it works/operates
  • Sound conceptual abilities coupled with a strong knowledge of the integration journey and associated requirements.
  • Qualification in PMO or  project management (PMP) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of leading a PMO on an integration
  • Strong workforce planning and budgeting experience
  • Experience communicating with senior stakeholders at Leadership Team level
