We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Recruitment Coordinator to join our team and help us to drive best practice HR initiatives throughout our organisation.

The successful applicant will be a highly organised and effective communicator with demonstrated experience in Human Resources. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where sourcing and recruiting good quality employees will be your top priority. You will possess project and stakeholder management skills, which will ensure that initiatives are delivered on time, to expected standards. Your ability to develop excellent working relationships to accomplish desired outcomes will be a critical aspect of this role, and you must be highly motivated with good time management skills. This is a hands-on position with a high level of one-on-one communication, so exceptional interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating our Core Values; Working Together, Community, Continuous Improvement and Customer Service Excellence
  • Advocating best practice employee engagement
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment including advertising, scheduling interviews, short listing, conducting interviews and coordinating the pre-employment process in conjunction with the principal stakeholders
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding including drafting employment contracts, delivering inductions and welcome packs
  • Continually work to improve the onboarding process for new hires, the hiring manager and other stakeholders.
  • Develop alternative sourcing methods to attract top talent.
  • Coordinating employee probationary reviews
  • Maintaining and reviewing of work rights for potential and existing employees
  • Providing employees with general advice and guidance on conditions of employment, company policy and procedures, and other HR matters
  • Developing and review HR policy and documentation, as required
  • Maintaining HRIS system
  • Providing HR systems support to employees and managers
  • Providing HR reports, as required
  • Supporting the HR team with other projects and people related initiatives and activities

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related qualification
  • Solid work history in a similar position
  • Familiarity with (HRIS) system or electronic recruitment
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Sound understanding of current employment legislation and best practice programs in employee attraction and recruitment
  • Understanding of  awards and interpretation
  • Strong understanding of best practice employee engagement
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data and legislation
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, and capacity to prioritise tasks
  • Strong written communication skills and demonstrated ability to produce reports and correspondence
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and previous experience working effectively as part of a team
