Permanent Senior HR role in a fast growing company with international operations.

Your new company
Our client is a fast-growing safety and security solutions provider focusing on community safety projects across APAC. Following recent expansion, our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Advisor to support the organization's strategic and operational future growth plans and ensure the delivery of people programmes and initiatives.

Your new role
Based in Canberra, you will be working across all levels of the organization nationally and providing informed and efficient service on all aspects of HR and the organization's strategy. This will predominantly entail partnering with the management team in identifying HR priorities, recommending effective people development and management solutions as well as designing and implementing internal culture and change programmes. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Building effective and collaborative networks
  • Contributing to strategic business development plans
  • Leading and managing organizational culture change projects and initiatives
  • Developing workforce plans, estimating FTE capacity, designing job descriptions
  • Recruiting, training and coaching employees
  • Developing and implementing effective performance management practices
  • Managing complex HR issues

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is seeking a highly experienced HR professional who will be able to demonstrate a broad range of HR competencies as well as operational and strategic HR experience. As such, we are interested in hearing from candidates with the following experience:

  • Extensive experience working in HR and providing credible advice and support across a range of human resources, and organisational change programs.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a start-up mindset towards solutions and outcomes
  • Team management and leadership potential
  • Outstanding interpersonal, people and time management skills
  • Capacity to efficiently manage multiple competing demands and priorities
  • Highly attuned judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Resilience and drive

Highly Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with oil and gas organizations and/or deploying staff overseas to remote counties
  • Knowledge of visa and work permit requirements and process to overseas countries would be a distinct advantage
  • A degree in Human Resources Management or similar field. Member of human resource associations such as AHRI, would be desirable.
