Your new company
Based in Melbourne's CBD, you will work for a leading Federal Government Department that works with sensitive subject matter that will require empathy and resilience in an ever-changing environment.

This 6-month Temporary Assignment with the strong possibility of extending to 12 months, as a Change Lead Officer concentrating on critical change/transformation in a fast-paced environment.

Your new role

  • Support the initiation of change initiatives, through identifying key stakeholders and facilitating workshops to elicit information
  • Provide support, advice and education on the change management process to employees at all levels
  • Support change owners to develop change management plans and identify risks and mitigation strategies
  • Evaluate the impact of planned organisational change and offer recommendations and advice on how to minimise any identified impacts
  • Support transformational activities associated with the objectives in accordance with Trauma Informed Principles
What you'll need to succeed
  • Demonstrated experience and a clear understanding of Change Management Principles
  • Fantastic communication and written skills, and not afraid to build relationships virtually
  • Proven ability to work within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, while also juggling multiple priorities at once
  • The ideal candidate will show traits of empathy and resilience, due to the nature of the subject matter
  • Australian Public Service experience desirable, however not a requirement
