Diversity Manager job in the eastern suburbs. Create, review and implement diversity-related strategies.

Your new company
This leading public education provider based in the East is looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Manager to drive the implementation of their diversity-related strategies. This role is in the People and Culture team and will report to a director.

Your new role
Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Create, implement and review diversity-related strategies across the organisation
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to review and develop strategies
  • Work to create diversity-related training and support the implementation of training across the organisation
  • Be responsible for scheduling events and activities that support strategies
  • Manage the Inclusion & Diversity team whilst playing a key role in the People and Culture leadership team
  • Provide organisational-wide consultation and advice on diversity-related programs, initiatives and priorities
  • Maintain organisational policies to ensure they are up to date with current diversity-related priorities

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR professional with the following:

  • Experience working in a specialist human resources role driving and managing diversity-related programs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgement
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines
  • Prior people management experience is preferred

Our client is open to industry background however, experience working in a large, complex working environment is preferred.
