Employee Relations Advisor for Immediate Start

A diverse and established government organisation based centrally in Perth.

Your new role
An Employee Relations Advisor position on a 12 month fixed term contract, with an immediate start. This role is a specialist position within the people and culture team providing advice and guidance business-wide on all industrial matters. You will implement, update and interpret policies and procedures, ensuring your advice is in line with relevant legislation. You will provide expert advice with performance management and dispute resolution, as well as supporting leadership throughout performance processes. You will manage union negotiations and communications, with the highest level of professionalism.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a highly experienced employee relations specialist with a qualification in human resources or IR/ER. You will have in depth knowledge and experience with Australian employment legislation with demonstrable exposure in dealing with Fair Work and the commission. With exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the board, you will be solutions driven and have the ability to maintain the high levels of customer service at all times.

What you'll get in return
A 12 month fixed term contract with a large organisation based centrally in Perth. You will work as part of an experienced employee relations team, alongside the wider people and culture division.
