An exciting opportunity to contribute to agency objectives and services delivery requirements as a HR Advisor.

Your new role
The role provides practical people related advice to managers and employees across the full range of HR issues.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide high quality and timely support, advice and resolution to managers on a full range of operational people matters and conditions of employment
  • Manage complex employee matters across a broad range
  • Participate in broader People and Culture projects and initiatives to ensure successful delivery and implementation
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and review of processes, procedures and documentation to ensure best possible HR advice and practices is being delivered
  • Conduct objective and systematic job evaluations and quality assurance to determine job classifications and ensure fit for purpose role design
  • Coordinate, facilitate and support processes within the organisation including process reviews, dispute resolution and grievances among other people matters

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate in this role you will possess the following:

  • Extensive experience in providing sound HR advice across a full range of people matters
  • Proven experience in successfully coaching and developing management capability in lifting their people management skills and abilities
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse workload and competing priorities, and the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work demands and circumstances
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong problem solving, conceptual and analytical skills
