9 Month Contract - Head of HR/P&C for Large Retail Brand in Sydney. Managing a team, supporting SLT.

Your new company
Working for as high successful and well known Australian retail brand with large scale retail network across Australia and New Zealand with over 3000 employees. Working at the Corporate Head Office in Sydney. Nine Month Role to start ASAP.

Your new role
Working closely with the senior leaders, you will take on a long term contract role supporting a large retail workforce across all states and territories as well as managing a large HR team. you will ensure operational excellence is maintained and manage all areas of HR advice provisions for stores, head office and area managers; ER/IR issues and workplace investigations; subject matter expert on fairwork and legislation; recruitment and onboarding; recruitment processes and ensuring risk and compliance is adhered to; remuneration & benefits, performance reviews; WHS and RTW; L&D and Training. You will lead and develop the team and implement or deliver on any project work or extra requirement including the embedding of a new HRIS system and ensuring EBA interpretation and processes are followed.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Senior HR manager, Head of HR, Senior People & Culture Manager who has managed a team and enjoys working in large more complex business environments. You will be experience in supporting a larger workforce 1000+ minimum on a national basis. You will have excellent EBA and award interpretation skills and enjoy managing and mentoring a team. Experienced working in Retail, Hospitality across multiple sites, FMCG and other consumer focused brands would be of great interest. you will also ideally be immediately available as this role is to start mid June at the very latest.
