This organisation is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join their business. You will be responsible for coordinating recruitment processes, providing project support, assisting line managers with the maintenance of performance management frameworks and taking ownership and play a vital role ensuring open lines of communication between the HR team and business lines are maintained.

Accustomed to working in a hands-on, collaborative environment, you will be a strong communicator with generalist HR advisory, consultative or coordinator experience drawn from a corporate environment. You are comfortable building relationships with stakeholders across business lines, liaising with all staff levels and maintaining processes and frameworks to a high level.

In this permanent opportunity, you will be responsible for delivering responsive and proactive people services across a diverse client group. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include recruitment support, employee relations, and being the first point of contact on various people issues.

  • Developing effective relationships with managers and leadership team;
  • Work closely with the business, and HR team to ensure that all HR programs and processes are implemented and communicated effectively and consistently;
  • Support business change and the management of organisational risk and implications proactively;
  • Assist with end to end recruitment, talent development and succession planning;
  • Effectively coordinate the graduate program
  • Manage and report to leaders within your client group on all Case Management pertaining to health, disciplinary and performance issues;
  • Demonstrate and espouse a strong safety culture.

With their head office in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, this role will see you join a small HR team who are passionate about HR and focussed on delivering quality people initiatives to a diverse client group. Responsibilities will be generalist in nature including continuous review and implementation of processes to ensure compliance and best practice, along with coaching and providing advice on ER and people management issues. You will have extensive recruitment experience and will enjoy interacting with internal and external clients at all levels to influence successful resolutions and initiate strong working relationships.

Your generalist experience of 2-3 years + along with your maturity and confident approach to resolving all manner of HR issues will be key to your success in this role. Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience will provide a framework to add value to the strategic development of this progressive organisation.
