Mandarin Speaking HR Business Partner Needed. Sydney based. Must have Local Australian HR Experience. 90K.

Your new company
Working for a new established and rapidly growing global business which specialising in brand and marketing with a global footprint and future expansion into APAC. Mandarin Speaker required.

Your new role
You will be an HR generalist supporting a workforce of 200+ employees in Australia. Working as part of a small but growing HR team, you will be responsible for coaching and supporting managers and employees across a creative and white collar sectors in all operational HR work.

Specific areas will include:

  • Employee relations and advising on policies and processes
  • Performance management and coaching on grievances and issues
  • Annual appraisals and performance reviews
  • Remuneration & benefits
  • Payroll processes and payroll query management
  • RTW and Workers Compensation
  • Co-ordinating training and managing training programs for employees

As this is a relatively new business to Australia, there will be a large amount of coaching of leaders and employees through change, educating all levels of employees and management, and building their capabilities in people practices, employee legislation and employee engagement. What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fluent Mandarin Speaker. You will be an experienced HR Generalist at either HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor level. You will enjoy operational HR work and ideally have both Australian and overseas experience. We cannot consider candidates without local Australian HR experience - this is essential.
You will ideally come from an industry which is service or customer focused e.g. Retail, Media, Marketing, Hospitality, Travel.
