Your new company
Our client is a well-established Healthcare Organisation who have a strong working culture and values. They pride themselves on delivering exceptions solutions contributing to the success of their people and business. They are currently seeking a Senior HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, lead the Human Resources and Organisational Development function.

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a small team the position will encompass a variety of challenges and responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning; Develop and implement HR & Organisational strategies.
  • Workforce planning issues and legislative requirements.
  • Industrial Relations; lead in IR strategy, engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide professional advice, support and guidance to management team around HR policies, procedures and issues.
  • Complete HR related investigations and maintain up to date of IR and related legislation.
  • Manage workforce planning activities and manage relationships with agencies.
  • Review current on-boarding approach and recommend and implement changes.
  • Engagement and Culture; develop and implement employee engagement and retention sessions.
  • Performance and Development; improve employee performance and conduct.
  • Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing; monitor and manage.
  • Systems, Metrics and Compliance; Implement HR programs, support HSMs, HR Reporting.
  • Maintain Time, Attendance and Payroll; review and approve processes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • To be successful for this position, you will have a strong career in Human Resources, Organisational Development and Industrial Relations Management.
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a medium sized organisation - member of the executive management team.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or related disciplines.
  • Healthcare background highly desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
