Human Resource Business Partner - Part time

A part-time opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner or Adviser to join a national organisation.

Your new company
Our client, a national not for profit organisation is actively sourcing a part time HR professional to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Reporting to the HR Lead, you will be required to provide transaction and strategic HR support to the executive and leaders of the organisation. Working collaboratively, you will work to resolve complex issues, provide expert advise and mentor and coach staff through process and policy. Key duties include:

  • Coach and mentor leaders in effective people management including regular performance planning and appraisals, training development and performance development
  • Promote positive workplace practices and culture
  • Oversee the delivery of HR services and initiatives within the portfolio
  • Management and coordination of all recruitment needs from advertising, shortlisting, to contract and offer and on-boarding
  • Support the leadership team in providing strategic input in the functions of Human Resource and how this contributes to the organisation
  • Continue to maintain, update and distribute policy and procedures for the organisation
  • Stay up to date on knowledge of current legislation and awards


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate strong local knowledge and experience within the HR discipline. You will have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and with preference experience working in the Public Sector. You will be looking for a role that is part time (0.5) only and a person who can work autonomously with minimal supervision.

You will enjoy an advisory role, where you provide the guidance to key stakeholders and management, whilst still enjoy to be hands on and proactive in working with a diverse workforce.
