An exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Manager to join a local organisation on a permanent basis based in Darwin.

Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, this role is responsible for managing the HR duties for the organisation with tasks ranging from operational to strategic development. An autonomous role, key responsibilities include providing leadership to the workforce on all matters relating to HR, develop and implement programs aligned with the strategic plan of the organisation, manage and oversee all WHS and ensure that teams operate in accordance to policy and compliance, end to end recruitment for all vacancies including contract and remote areas, review and revision of all policy and procedures ensuring that they remain relevant in accordance to employment law and is actively executed and understood amongst the workforce. This role will also support workforce development and identifying training opportunities and assist the executive team with ad hoc project roles as they arise

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must have extensive knowledge of current Australian legislation and fair work Australia. You will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resource or related discipline and be able to demonstrate experience in workforce planning, performance management, employee relations and work, health safety
