Permanent Role - L&D Manager - Financial Service Organisation

Your new company
Our client is an evolving and innovative Financial Services organisation in the Inner Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. They are seeking a talented, passionate and authentic Learning & Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Reporting to the HR Director you will be responsible in Leading and Developing the training services division in Victoria; key focus of the role is to drive the End-to-End learning experience for all employees to ensure value add with the strategic goals, analyse and drive learning priorities for the organisation.

  • Setting and Driving the strategic direction of the Learning Division.
  • Prepare and maintain the annual training budget across the business.
  • Identify needs and analysis the training requirements.
  • Complete projects around products and systems, coaching leadership.
  • Management of the training services operations; development and implementing a training service plan for the teams.
  • Program Quality, development & enhancement of training programs.
  • Be subject matter expert on the LMS System (ELMO).
  • Liaise with third party providers regarding trainee/intern studies and government incentives.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience from a Learning & Development Background.
  • Leadership in HR, Organisational Development and L&D in a complex organisation.
  • Financials Services industry experience beneficial
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable.
  • Professional, Personable and Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Experience in eLearning, face to face and blended learning.
  • Flexible and Hands on approach.
  • Leadership Capability; setting and implementing strategic direction.
  • Willingness to travel across State occasionally.
