An exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Manager to join a local organisation

Your new company
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced HR manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This organisation has a proactive with their employees and looking for a manager who is able to support the generalist duties whilst also working to ensure professional development and training within the organisation.

Your new role
This role will see you providing strategic direction for their Human Resource functions as we all oversight for their corporate services and governance across the origination. You will be responsible for the following;

  • Set the Senior Leadership Team up for success with effective advice on the implementation of a wide spectrum of human resource, governance and compliance issues.
  • Maintain, grow and develop the team by administering best practice recruitment and retention processes, annual performance reviews and staff training and development.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies, policies, guidelines to educate and support staff in complying with governance legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of corporate governance, compliance and legal issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the organisation has an effective corporate governance framework that complies with legislative requirements and achieves company objectives.
  • Preparation of high-level business submissions and briefings including responses and briefing papers on behalf of the General Manager on issues associated with the organisation

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will firstly have a tertiary degree in Human Resources or a similar discipline. You will have experience in HR legislation and preparation, review and execution of policy and procedures. You will be logical in your approach to work and be able to work in a senior capacity whilst providing guidance to the Director of Corporate Services.
