We have a vacancy for a tertiary qualified highly experienced HR Manager to join our busy head office team located in Milperra. Reporting to the HR Director, this is a full-time role that will see you working closely with the Managing Director, COO and General Managers.  

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the Head Office HR team and liaison and consultation with interstate HR Coordinators
  • Assist and provide advice to MD, COO, GM’s with any HR/IR issues that arise , inputting into the strategic future direction of the business from an HR perspective
  • Supervision and management of all the HR functions including but not limited to Staffing the organisation, Training, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, Remuneration, Organisation development, Employee engagement and Employee Retention.
  • Direct involvement in the recruitment of senior staff
  • Managing, defining and ensuring the maintenance of all HR Policies and procedures pertaining to all aspects of employment  
  • Managing and Providing advice, counselling and assistance to management and staff on all HR/IR issues;
  • Management and maintenance of HR IT systems for efficient management of the HR function, including taking HR to the next level of automation in our organisation, streamlining processes, improving the services we offer to our employees.
  • Liaison with Payroll ensuring HR remuneration strategy implemented

This is a busy, hands-on national role where no day is the same. You must be able to multi-task, have intermediate computer skills and tertiary qualifications in HR/IR. We require a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable role, preferably in a similar or allied industry. Interstate travel will be required.
