My client is a young but established company that has achieved substantial growth over the past decade.  This business is going through a period of change and this role will support the latest phase of their development and beyond.  

As part of a small and collegiate team of HR Generalists and Specialists, this newly created position will partner with a defined and varied client group, covering multiple locations in the APAC region.  Responsibilities will include - 
  • Employee Relations
  • Employee Life-Cycle Processing (with HR Coordinator support)
  • Learning & Development
  • Recruitment (mostly selection, with the support of the TA Manager)
  • HR Projects - this is a big part of the role and will include EVP & Leadership Development initiatives (the project list is long and will grow)
To secure this role you will be an experienced generalist ideally with exposure to a medium sized business environment.  A strong understanding of Australian employment law is essential (NZ and Asia would be a bonus).

Sector background is unimportant but it is likely that you have supported corporate, sales or technical groups.  The style and attitude of the individual will be key in this position; you will need to be pragmatic, down to earth and flexible in your approach.  A commercial approach to stakeholder management is also a necessity in an environment where a jargon-free, direct communication is valued. 

This is a full-time role but flexible working arrangements are actively encouraged.
