Advise and guide stakeholders across a Federal Government Dept. through eRecruit and the recruitment process

Your new company
A Federal Government Department is looking for an APS professional to fit in to their medium sized team that coordinates national recruitment. Full training will be provided.

Your new role
You will conduct a variety of tasks associated to the recruitment process. This may include writing job adverts and position descriptions with line managers, shortlisting and phone screening candidates, coordinating interviews and generating contracts/letters of offers for new starters. You will need to work with managers to understand their recruitment requirements and coach them through a complex and thorough recruitment process. The role will include elements of transactional work and you will need to use an e-recruitment system.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have held an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance that can be transferred to this Department with your valid CS Number. You will have experience adhering to processes and have an exceptional attention to detail and ability to transact on systems. It would be advantageous but it is not essential that you have previously completed recruitment activities, preferably from within the Australian Public Sector. It is essential that you are able to manage a high volume of work and that you can manage multiple tasks with excellent organisational skills.

You will have previously shown the ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high quality of work during busy periods. You will be able to engage stakeholders, build successful working relationships and give expert advice to recruitment processes. You will be an involved team member that is an exceptional communicator.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a highly competitive salary and a good work/life balance. You will be working for an organisation which values its employees and makes a difference to the Australian public.
