My client is a reputable organisation with a national presence and a professional and intellectual internal client base.  The organisation is going through a period of strategic change and this role is a newly created to support a revamped approach to their people.

Introducing this new role will offer an opportunity to refresh the HR department and in particular seek to offer a proactive service to internal clients.
The position will have strategic input but will be responsible for embedding some predetermined actions from an already conducted strategic planning process which has been developed.  People goals and specific people actions have already been established, down to the detailed plans such as the renegotiation of the existing EBA.

The role will oversee all operational HR work such as recruitment, employee relations and compensation.  An emphasis will be placed on coaching managers through people situations rather than directly handing the matters although this will vary based on the line manager capability.  The role has functional responsibility for several team member in generalist and learning & development.

To secure this position you will be a senior HR Generalist with experience in managing teams.  You will have experience of dealing with unions and conducting an EBA negotiation.
