Your new company

A unique opportunity for a Workforce Planner to join this well known and dynamic government organisation's People and Culture team. It's a great opportunity to work closely with the People team where they put their people at the heart of everything they do.

Your new role

You will support the development, implementation and review of company-wide workforce strategies and resource planning. You will undertake research, analysis and planning activities to support the development of organisational workforce strategies. The role monitors workforce data and trends to inform workforce planning and the development of mobility and resourcing strategies. You will be someone who has the ability to work collaboratively in a team and collaborate with business partnering teams and people leaders to develop divisional workforce plans that meet current and future capacity and capability requirements.
Additional responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Monitor the implementation of workforce plans utilising workforce analytics and the reporting of key metrics in dashboards and other reporting formats.
  • Support the identification and implementation of activities and programs which address identified resource and workforce priorities for the organisation and divisions.
  • Develop and implement resourcing and recruitment strategies, utilising enterprise-wide approaches to improve effectiveness and efficiency in attracting and employing talent and expertise.
  • Develop and implement mobility strategies to meet the organisation's talent management objectives.
  • Provide relevant, timely and accurate reports that meet standard periodic internal and external reporting requirements and produce custom reporting as required.


What you'll need to succeed

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, analytics and delivering workforce strategies, including resource planning.
You will possess advanced excel skills specifically in utilising pivot tables and vlookup formulas. Demonstrated experience with Tableau will be highly desirable.
