Your new role
In this temporary assignment, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-quality, timely operational HR support to Directors, Managers, and staff across the Region.
- Lead and manage recruitment processes, including serving as a selection panel member for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with HR Officers to efficiently fill regional vacancies aligned with departmental policies.
- Advise on workforce management, role descriptions, and legislative compliance.
- Independently manage recruitment tasks using expertise in policies and selection procedures.
- Support establishment management, remuneration, and employment conditions.
- Maintain accurate HR systems and records, including SAP HR, FTE reports, and organisational charts.
- Ensure quality control in preparing and managing HR forms and documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and HR Policies within the Queensland Public Sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Resilience and adaptability, and the capacity to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
