Your new role
In this role, you'll provide high-level advice and support on complex people management matters. Working within a national HR Support team, you'll assist managers across the agency with performance, conduct, attendance, and other employment framework issues. You'll also play a key role in managing and analysing organisational data to support strategic decision-making. You'll lead data modelling, quality assurance, and integration efforts, and manage and support a small team.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading data analysis and modelling across multiple systems

Completing regular reporting, HR data cleansing, and data analysis

Developing people analytics and reporting tools to inform workforce planning and HR strategies

Ensuring accuracy of data by undertaking regular reviews and audits

Providing practical advice to senior leaders across a range of HR matters with a focus on data, reporting and workforce planning

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement data-driven HR solutions
-
Providing advice on complex workforce issues and trends
-
Collaborating with specialist HR teams to ensure consistent support
What you'll need to succeed
All applicants must be Australian citizens to be considered. Baseline clearance highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of HR reporting and data analysis with the ability to identify meaningful insights

Strong Excel skills are essential

Ability to think strategically to identify impacts of broader policies and procedures
-
Familiarity with relevant legislation applicable to the federal government
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
-
Experience with data integration, modelling and quality assurance processes

Ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities
