Your new role
As the Senior HR Advisor (Policy), you'll play a key role in developing and delivering strategic HR and workplace relations policies. Working within a dedicated Workplace Relations team, you'll consult with stakeholders across the agency, the APS, and state and territory jurisdictions to support workforce priorities.
You'll be responsible for:

Researching and analysing complex HR policy and legislative issues

Providing expert policy advice and recommendations under tight timeframes

Supporting the implementation of the organisation's Enterprise Agreement

Preparing reports, briefs, and correspondence for internal and government use

Providing secretariat support to the National Consultative Committee

Engaging with key stakeholders including unions and agency delegates
What you'll need to succeed
All applicants must be Australian citizens to be considered. Baseline clearance highly desirable.

Strong technical knowledge of HR policy, workplace relations, and employment legislation

Proven experience in developing strategic HR frameworks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advanced research and analytical capabilities

Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills

Experience in the APS enterprise bargaining process

High level of initiative, judgement, and personal drive
