Our Client
Our client is looking for a Digital Literacy Training Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your New Role
The purpose of this position is to provide engaging, effective training and support to the workforce on all digital platforms. Working within People & Performance with support from the Information Systems Business Unit, this role will enhance digital literacy throughout the organisation by designing, delivering or organising digital training workshops, 1/1 sessions, lunch and learns, as well as assisting employees with general systems enquiries and ensuring processes are well documented.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deliver engaging digital literacy sessions to foster an enhanced understanding for employees using City systems.
- Host onboarding workshops for new starters with a focus on digital systems, ensuring employees are empowered to effectively utilise City systems day-to-day.
- Liaise with internal Business Units to understand individual and team needs to inform digital training scheduled.
- Provide ad-hoc one-on-one support to employees requiring assistance with digital systems and programs, including scheduled mandatory eLearning.
- Lead drop-in support sessions when internal eLearning modules are assigned to enable employees from all Business Units to complete the required training, offering assistance where required (assistance with reading/writing).
- Liaise with Information Systems to develop a training plan for employees based on the current technology used throughout the City, including any upgrades or updates.
- Conduct an annual Digital Literacy Survey to report on the training needs of the organisation, also linking into the Annual Performance Review process
What you need
-
Below are some dot points of essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualification and/or significant relevant experience in training and development.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering engaging and effective training workshops relating to the use of digital systems.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on effective communication across a diverse range of customers (internal and external).
- Ability to manage a varied workload whilst maintaining deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple learning and development projects, including leading training workshops.
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products
- Previous experience delivering training and development workshops.
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
- Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
What they Offer
This position is a level 6/7 which has a salary range of $85,067 - $106,296.
