An experienced FIFO HR Business Partner is required for a standalone HR role on site.

We are seeking an experienced Fly‑In Fly‑Out HR Business Partner to join our team in a pivotal standalone role supporting a high‑performing, growing operational workforce. This position is ideal for a confident HR professional who thrives in remote environments, can build strong onsite relationships, and delivers both strategic and hands‑on HR support.

As the site's dedicated HR professional, you will partner closely with operational leaders to drive their proactive, positive culture, ensure employee engagement, and provide expert guidance across the full spectrum of HR. You will balance strategic influence with day‑to‑day responsiveness, supporting the workforce on all people‑related matters.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic HR Leadership: workforce planning, capability development, succession, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Operational HR Support: coaching supervisors, managing ER/IR matters, performance management, and providing practical onsite HR solutions.
  • Culture & Engagement: fostering a positive, inclusive, safety‑focused workforce environment.
  • Site Support: maintaining a visible presence on site, building strong relationships, and understanding operational challenges.
  • Compliance & Governance: ensuring alignment with company policies, legislative requirements, and industry standards.
To be successful in your application:
  • Prior FIFO experience (essential) - you understand the unique dynamics, rhythms, and demands of remote operations.
  • Proven experience in both strategic and operational HR roles.
  • Strong capability in coaching leaders and influencing business outcomes.
  • Solid ER/IR knowledge with an ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Exceptional communication, resilience, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to work autonomously.
