Join a dynamic team in the resources sector as a Senior HR Advisor, working on an 8:6 FIFO roster.

Are you passionate about people, workplace culture, and continuous improvement? Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide quality advisory support and drive people initiatives across their operational sites. This is an excellent opportunity for you to continue to broaden your FIFO mining owner/operator experience or if you are ready to transition from a contractor environment into an owner/operator role within the gold mining sector.

About the Role:

  • Partner with leaders and employees across site-based operations, providing practical and responsive generalist HR advice.
  • Coach and support leaders through people processes, performance conversations, workforce matters and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations matters confidently and fairly, including investigations, disciplinary processes and case management.
  • Contribute to the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives aligned to business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate key cyclical people activities, including remuneration, salary reviews and other workforce planning processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data and reporting with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with site leadership and the broader People Team to support consistent HR practices across the business.
  • Support training, compliance activities and monthly reporting requirements as part of the broader site HR function.
You will be degree qualified in HR or a related specialism, supported by a consolidated career history in a generalist HR role, ideally within the mining or resources sector. You will be a confident communicator with strong negotiation, influencing, planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with leaders and employees across site-based operations. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to lead case investigations and possess a comprehensive working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards in Australia. You will be proficient in MS Office and HR information systems, and a current C Class Driving Licence.

Applicants must reside in Western Australia and possess full working rights for Australia. Prior FIFO-based experience will be highly regarded.
