Hays is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation who is seeking two dynamic HR Advisors to join its People & Culture team. Known for its commitment to innovation, community, and environmental stewardship, this company offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives while supporting both operational and corporate teams.

Your new role

You'll be part of a collaborative and agile HR team, delivering timely and effective HR services that enhance workforce capability, engagement, and compliance. Depending on your location and experience, you'll either be:

Hobart-Based HR Advisor - Supporting both corporate and operational teams from a Hobart base, contributing to broader HR initiatives and services.

You'll provide hands-on HR support across key functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Your role will be instrumental in supporting workforce planning and employee development, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Operational HR Advisor - Margate based / weekly travel to operational sites required

Corporate/Site Operations HR Advisor - Hobart or Triabunna based / weekly travel to operational sites required
Working closely with leaders and People & Culture colleagues, you'll help resolve HR challenges in a pragmatic and collaborative way. Your contribution will drive impactful HR outcomes aligned with broader business goals.

What you'll need to succeed

- Certificate IV or Diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of proven HR experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
- Agile and team-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Operational exposure or experience working with frontline teams is highly valued
- AHRI Certified Practitioner (CPHR) or equivalent is desirable
Travel expectations:
Margate role: 2-3 days in Margate, 2 days in Hobart
Hobart role: 2-3 days per week visiting operational sites, remainder based in Hobart CBD office
