An immediately available HR Advisor is required for a 6-month contract based in Perth CBD.
Our client is an emerging mining organisation seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a six-month contract based in the Perth CBD.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing the company's HR foundations by developing, reviewing and implementing a comprehensive suite of people policies, procedures and employment documentation to support future growth.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and associated templates.
- Ensuring policies align with Australian employment legislation and industry best practice.
- Providing advice on employee relations, compliance and employment matters.
- Reviewing existing HR documentation and identifying gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Partnering with International colleagues to ensure alignment with local legislation.
- Support the development of HR frameworks, processes and governance standards.
About You:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisory role.
- Demonstrated experience developing HR policies and procedures from the ground up.
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards (NES) and contemporary employment legislation.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements in a practical business context.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.
- Experience within mining, resources, construction or other industrial environments will be highly regarded.
