Drive People Strategy in a Growing Organisation
Your New Role
As a trusted advisor to leaders, you will provide practical and commercially focused HR support across a range of people-related matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with leaders to provide expert advice across the employee life cycle.
- Coaching managers through performance management, misconduct, grievances, workplace complaints and disciplinary matters.
- Interpreting and applying employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, policies and workplace obligations.
- Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and organisational growth initiatives.
- Contributing to Enterprise Agreement preparation, consultation and implementation activities.
- Developing, reviewing and improving HR policies, procedures and frameworks.
- Supporting organisational change and helping leaders build high-performing teams.
- Identifying opportunities to improve people processes, systems and the overall manager experience.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar role.
- Strong employee relations and industrial relations capability.
- Proven experience coaching leaders through challenging and complex people matters.
- Excellent influencing, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience supporting organisational change and business growth.
- The resilience and confidence to work with leaders and operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
Desirable
- AHRI membership will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Experience participating in Enterprise Agreement negotiations or implementation activities.
- Exposure to industrial relations matters involving employee representatives or unions.
