HR Projects Officer is required for an immediate start - Perth CBD Based.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HR Projects Officer to join a growing organisation within the renewable energy sector on an initial six-month contract.

This role will suit a highly organised, transactional HR professional who enjoys project-based work, driving process improvements, and supporting the delivery of key people initiatives during a period of growth and transformation.

Working closely with the People & Culture Manager and broader business stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening HR frameworks, policies, and employee experience platforms while providing operational support across HR, payroll, and administration functions.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing HR administration and project support across a range of People & Culture initiatives. Assisting where required with payroll and finance-related HR administration activities.
  • Reviewing, updating and developing HR policies, procedures, templates, and governance frameworks. Coordinating the implementation and administration of a new Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Creating and maintaining HR documentation, templates, and resources using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Continuing to develop the employee intranet hub.
  • Contributing to change management activities relating to system and process improvements. Supporting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives and platform development.
  • Providing administration and reporting support for Employment Hero.
  • Participating in the evaluation, due diligence, and selection process for a new HRIS.
To be successful in your application, you will have previously held positions within HR Projects or generalist HR roles with a strong emphasis on systems implementation and process improvement. Prior exposure to the use of HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Strong HR administration capability with excellent attention to detail. You must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, coupled with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a broader team. Experience supporting change management, learning systems, intranet development, or HR technology projects will be highly regarded.
