HRIS Implementation Specialist - Contract

This public sector agency requires a HRIS expert to roll out the final stage of their transition from Tech1 payroll to Aurion. Knowledge of these systems is highly regarded but is not essential.

Your duties will include:
  • Apply specialized HRIS knowledge to consult on best practices, actively assisting the Payroll team in designing and implementing an optimal solution to meet operational needs and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive End User Training sessions for the BAU Team, ensuring a proficient understanding of the new Payroll processes.
  • Keep the Chief People Officer consistently updated on project progression, issues, and challenges.
  • Deliver payroll system support services of the highest quality ensuring clients' needs are met professionally and promptly.
  • Assist on multiple client projects with a variety of services - included but not limited to payroll processing, reporting, customisation, EOFY processing, system upgrade testing, STP2, and process improvement.
  • Proactively engage in training opportunities (self-paced and with the team) to broaden your Aurion system skillset that will expand your consulting service capabilities.
  • Effectively contribute to the team by meeting billable targets, engaging in regular team updates, and upskilling knowledge to help form a deeper knowledge base across the team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support their project and job-related need.

Selection Criteria

  1. Minimum 2 Payroll implementations with complex industrial landscape
  2. Strong payroll industry knowledge of end-to-end payroll process.
  3. Strong understanding of Rostering, Time and Award solutions
  4. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  5. High level of accuracy and communication both written and verbal.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team environment.
