New opportunity for a standalone HR Business Partner on a standalone basis within the mining sector.
Are you seeking a part-time HR Business Partner position centrally located within the mining sector?
Our client is a newly established mining owner/operator who, albeit small for now, will be expanding rapidly in the near future, creating opportunities for further development and promotion.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for establishing the human resources function alongside the support of an HR Consultancy.
Initially, this position will be responsible for the creation and design of all policies, processes, procedures and frameworks surrounding all generalist responsibilities including:
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Induction and probation reviews
- Performance review and performance management
- Remuneration frameworks
- Talent management
- Feasibility and implementation of an HRIS
- Creation of HR dashboard and monthly board reports
This position will be offered on the basis of 24-28 hours per week and can be flexible across chosen days to work.
To be successful in your application, you will be a Qualified HR Business Partner with strong business acumen and proven executive engagement and partnering. You will possess prior exposure to the mining sector and ideally have worked previously within a start-up or growing environment where you have been instrumental in the creation and development of the human resources function. A comprehensive knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards is essential.
