Your new role

The P&C Support Officer provides high-quality administrative and operational support to the P&C team across the full employee lifecycle and policy portfolio. This role is responsible for coordinating HR processes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Role responsibility:
  • Provide day-to-day support to the People and Culture team, across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, and exits.
  • Assist with the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines under the direction of the Manager People and Culture.
  • Coordinate documentation, reporting, and records management to ensure compliance and accuracy in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
  • Support the delivery of workforce initiatives, training, and engagement activities by handling scheduling, logistics, and communication.
  • Draft correspondence, briefing notes, and research to inform decision-making and policy development.
  • Provide responsive customer service to employees and leaders by triaging queries, escalating matters where appropriate, and ensuring timely follow-up.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Previous experience in a HR role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a national police check.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience working with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
  • Previous experience maintaining accurate electronic and hard copy records management systems.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and self-motivation to work independently, while effectively collaborating within a small, dynamic team.
  • Strong confidentiality, diplomacy, and sensitivity in handling sensitive documents and information
