A high-volume blue collar recruiter is required for an immediate start.

Our client is seeking an experienced Blue Collar Recruitment Advisor to join their high‑performing recruitment team, supporting large‑scale workforce demands within the mining sector. This is a hands-on, end‑to‑end recruitment role requiring a proactive, resilient professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

This opportunity offers an initial temporary engagement requiring an immediate start with a clear pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, you will manage end‑to‑end recruitment for a blue-collar workforce across multiple sites. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand operational requirements, build talent pipelines, and deliver timely, high-quality recruitment outcomes while maintaining a strong candidate experience.

Duties will include:

  • Delivering high‑volume, end‑to‑end recruitment across blue-collar roles for an underground business
  • Building and maintaining uptodate talent pools to support ongoing and forecast workforce demand
  • Proactively searching, screening and selecting candidates through advertising, database search, referrals and direct sourcing
  • Partnering closely with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, provide market insights and influence effective recruitment decisions
  • Managing large candidate workflows with strong attention to detail across applicant tracking systems
  • Coordinating interviews, pre-employment checks and liaison with the mobilisation team
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle

To be successful in your application:

  • Demonstrated experience in high‑volume blue-collar recruitment, ideally within mining or heavy industry
  • Strong capability in talent pooling, candidate sourcing and search & selection
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with hiring managers and operational leaders
  • Confidence managing competing priorities and large applicant volumes without compromising quality
  • High attention to detail and strong applicant management capability
  • A proactive, professional communication style and customer‑focused mindset
  • The resilience and adaptability required to succeed in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment
