Opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a publicly listed organisation

This publicly listed resources organisation is currently experiencing a period of rapid growth, which has created expansion within their human resources team to further develop a high performance workforce.

Reporting to the Human Resources Lead, you will be given the autonomy to support a portfolio of sites in a generalist capacity, influencing best practice and continuous improvement.

Working collaboratively with the site management team, you will provide operational generalist HR support including: coaching and mentoring of line management, the provision of generalist advice, grievance and disciplinary management, performance management, industrial relations, workforce planning, performance review, and then take accountability for the implementation of key HR initiatives including organisational culture, talent management, engagement and retention, reward and recognition etc.

This is a fast-paced environment, where continuous improvement and provision of high quality service is paramount to success. The position requires site presence, which translates into 2 to 3 days per week being based on site, and the remaining days based within their Perth Head Office.

To be considered for this position, you will be consultative in your approach, and possess the ability to build trust and mutual respect in order to foster successful working relationships. You will be a qualified, senior HR Advisor and ideally have prior exposure to site-based human resources, or a background in mining or construction. You will be progressive in your approach to human resources, and business partner with your stakeholder groups to provide pragmatic, tailored solutions.

This is an opportunity to join a leading, international resources contractor within a role that allows for both autonomy and creativity to support your stakeholder group. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and longer term career development as the organisation continues with its projected growth for the future.

It is essential that you possess recent experience of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards, and have full working rights to work in Australia.

To register your interest, please send your resume, in the first instance to simone.partridge@hays.com.au or call on (08) 9254 4570.
