Drive-in, drive-out 4:3/4:3 roster for an experienced Senior HR Advisor ex-Perth
This is a varied generalist drive-in, drive-out 4:3/4:3 rostered, HR role offering the opportunity to work closely with site management while contributing to a range of HR improvement and capability projects. A key focus will be reviewing and improving HR processes and procedures, developing and facilitating training for line managers, and using workforce data and reporting to support informed decision-making.
An excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to gain exposure to the mining sector. You will be a generalist senior HR advisor with a comprehensive understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical HR advice and support to line management across a broad range of employee matters.
- Manage generalist HR casework, including performance management, employee relations matters, grievances and basic disciplinaries.
- Review, develop and improve HR processes, procedures and ways of working.
- Develop and facilitate training and development initiatives to strengthen line management capability and soft skills.
- Support managers through coaching, guidance and practical HR tools.
- Analyse workforce data, prepare reports and identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to broader HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Support effective use of HR systems and promote streamlined, technology-enabled processes.
- Build effective relationships with operational leaders and stakeholders across the business.
Pre-requisites
- Strong HR generalist experience, with exposure to case management.
- Experience developing or improving HR processes, procedures and systems.
- Confidence developing and facilitating training or capability initiatives for line management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR data and producing meaningful reports.
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong systems orientation and willingness to identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices and Australian employment legislation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
- Previous mining experience is not required.
